Agreements

There are various types of agreement depending on the purpose or requirement of the collaboration.

 

 

Mobility


The aim of this type of agreement is to establish the conditions of the mobility stay for the purposes of it being recognised as part of the work on the doctoral thesis. If they meet the requirements, candidates can request the International Doctorate mention.

 

Joint supervision

 

The aim of this type of agreement is to formalise the joint supervision of a doctoral thesis and to set the conditions for such a collaboration, so that the doctoral degree may be recognised by the signatory universities.

Businesses


The aim of this type of agreement is to develop joint research lines by carrying out doctoral theses that are of high quality and of social and corporate relevance. The content of tutored research work must be of shared interest.

 

Collaboration


The aim of this type of agreement is to establish links with another institution for a specific purpose, such as training doctoral students and researchers from another university within the framework of a UPC doctoral programme to enhance their academic training and progress towards a doctoral degree.
