Students who require a duplicate copy of their degree certificate must provide the original certificate and the documents accrediting the reason for the request, in addition to the documents listed in the corresponding section. 

Requests for the issue of duplicate copies of the certificate due to loss of the original document must be officially recorded via a notification in the Official Gazette of the Spanish Government (the corresponding fee will be paid for by the student). Requests will be processed one month after the notification has been published. 

The rest of the procedure is the same as for requesting original certificates.
