This stage begins when submit your thesis deposit application to the academic committee of your doctoral programme and provide the details and documents required.

The academic committee must validate the quality of your thesis to authorise the defence. It does this on the basis of internationally recognised quality indicators in the field of the doctoral programme. In addition to running the thesis through a plagiarism checker, if it considers it necessary it may ask external experts for a reasoned report on the quality of your work and your thesis. If the academic committee's report includes comments, you must address them and solve any problems with your thesis supervisor to be able to continue with the deposit.

Once the academic committee of your programme has authorised your proposal to deposit your thesis, you will be able to enrol.
