Before the thesis deposit

The doctoral thesis deposit request process is carried out through the PheDra application.

Before starting the process, you should consider the following questions:

Have I updated my activity document (DAD)?

Do I have the latest version of the thesis document reviewed and validated by my supervisor (or supervisors in case of co-supervision)?

If I want to present my thesis as an article-based thesis, do I have the co-authors' authorization to do so?

The authorization to present the thesis as an article-based thesis falls under the responsibility of the Academic Committee of the doctoral program and must be requested through PheDra before starting the deposit process.

Is my thesis affected by confidentiality agreements or pending result protection processes?

If so, you must request the application of confidentiality protocols for the defense and publication of the thesis via PheDra, before starting the deposit process.

Do I have articles derived from my thesis that are pending acceptance and/or publication?

If so, you can request a temporary embargo on the publication of the thesis until the publication of your articles is resolved. You can complete this procedure in PheDra until the moment of the doctoral thesis defense.

You must request these procedures in PheDra, and once resolved, you will be able to request the deposit of your thesis.

These procedures and the deposit request must be completed before submitting the thesis for review by external experts (at least two) to ensure its quality. This step is mandatory for all theses starting in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Regarding mentions and endorsements that can be included in the doctoral title, do I need to request any?
