Can all doctoral programmes submit a project to the Industrial Doctorates Plan?
Yes, any doctoral programme in any of the UPC’s areas of knowledge can participate in the Industrial Doctorates Plan call.
What steps do universities and companies need to take?
In order to submit the application form, the candidate must have been chosen and the collaboration agreement have been signed. The model agreement must be requested from: escola.doctorat@upc.edu. The agreement must be completed by the thesis supervisor, the company and any other entities involved and then sent to us at escola.doctorat@upc.edu so that it can be revised by the UPC’s Doctoral School (Doctoral Unit of the Academic Management Service) and the UPC’s Legal Services Area before it is signed.
The documents that must be submitted to the Government of Catalonia via the Virtual Citizen Care Office are the following:

Collaboration agreement between the UPC and the company (see template)

Minutes of the meeting at which the candidate was chosen (see template)

Academic transcript of the candidate

Letter of admission of the candidate to the corresponding doctoral programme
