1st Symposium Japan-Spain: Avatar Symbiotic Society

On the 3rd of November 2023 in the Auditorium, FME the 1st Japan-Spain Symposium of the AVATAR SYMBIOTIC SOCIETY.

The AVATAR SYMBIOTIC SOCIETY project aims to realize society free from the limitations of body, brain, space, and time, which allows everyone, including vulnerable people, to perform active social roles without constraint. Through the teleoperation of cybernetics avatars that can fully transmit the user's actions, intentions, and reactions in any type of scenarios and social activities (work, education, medical care, daily life, etc.). By 2050, our lifestyles will have dramatically changed, and technological advances will have enhanced our abilities: we will have greater freedom in our choice of location and how we spend our time, implementing an avatar-symbiosis within a balanced future society.

The objective of the 1st Japan-Spain Symposium is to introduce the AVATAR SYMBIOTIC SOCIETY and the SOCIAL PIA Project to all the academic community and general public and discuss the different points of view of this new paradigm.
