Get ready for the second edition of the Unite! Research School — even more ambitious, dynamic, and inspiring than before!

This unique international event will bring together PhD students, researchers, and industry leaders from across Europe for an immersive, week-long experience.

The 2025 programme will focus on some of today’s most relevant and exciting fields:

• Space and Technology
• Engineering Biology (including Biotechnology)
• Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity
• Transferable skills for aspiring scientists

All this, set against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps — a perfect setting for innovation and collaboration.

The programme includes:

• Disciplinary sessions and transferable skills workshops
• Keynotes and panel discussions with industry experts
• Inspiring testimonials from leading researchers
• Networking opportunities
• A collaborative research challenge in mixed teams (PhD + researchers)
• Guided visits to Grenoble’s top research infrastructures

Doctoral students will receive 30 training hours (doctoral activities).

Who can apply?

Doctoral students from any of the UNITE! universities whose research relates to the event’s thematic areas.

Registration is free and includes accommodation and meals during the event. Travel costs are not covered, but UPC doctoral students selected for the event will be eligible to apply for the mobility grant in the 2025–2026 call, to be published this summer. More info on the grant here.
