2022 Impact Awards for Industrial Doctorates

The Industrial Doctorates Plan of the Generalitat de Catalunya celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. During this first decade, the program of the Department of Research and Universities has involved 530 companies, the 12 Catalan universities, 25 research centers of Catalonia (CERCA), other research bodies in Catalonia (CSIC, BSC, Eurecat, among others), which together have involved more than 600 researchers.

To celebrate this anniversary, the first edition of the 2022 Impact Awards for Industrial Doctorates is presented. The purpose of the awards is a description of the impact generated by the collaborative research of the different industrial doctorate projects, as well as to bring this research closer to the public in order to identify challenges (current or future) and anticipate what type of impact it would generate.

The competition is aimed at participants of the Industrial Doctorate Plan for 3 of the 4 categories. But with the aim of opening the Industrial Doctorates program to all citizens, we also want to invite any person of legal age, resident in Catalonia in the fourth category, to participate in the competition.
