AQU Catalunya awards the Institutional Accreditation to the Doctoral School

The Doctoral School has obtained the Institutional Accreditation awarded by the Quality Agency of the Catalan University System (AQU Catalunya).

The Institutional Accreditation means that AQU certifies the quality of all doctoral programmes delivered at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia over a renewable period of six years. To obtain this recognition, the Doctoral School had to renew the initial accreditation of at least 50% of the programmes it offers. Additionally, it was necessary to secure certification for the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIQ), achieved in November 2024.

We would like to thank the participation of the technical management, administration and services staff (PTGAS), the teaching and research staff (PDI), and the doctoral candidates, who have made this recognition possible. This accreditation stands as an endorsement of the quality and academic excellence of the Doctoral School, ensuring the continuity and enhancement of its training programmes.
