Call for doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships from the French Embassy in Spain

The French Embassy in Spain finances 16 doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships lasting two weeks or one month: 2 scholarships of €852 for a stay of 15 days and 14 scholarships of €1,704 for a stay of one month.

These scholarships serve exclusively to finance mobility to France for doctoral or postdoctoral students, enrolled in a Spanish higher education or research centre (and not enrolled in France), within the framework of a research stay.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Posses Spanish citizenship.

• Be a PhD student or have defended the thesis during the last 5 years.

• Have an invitation from the French hosting organization.

• Not have received another scholarship (Erasmus/French Government, etc.) for the requested period of stay.

• Eligible research fields:

  • Environmental sciences

  • Ecological transition and energy transition

  • Sciences of the Universe

  • Artificial Intelligence; quantum technologies

  • Health

  • Humanities and Social Sciences

  • French philology, French and Francophone cultures
