Enrolment period open for the sixth edition of the «From Science to the Marketplace» programme

The Universitat de Barcelona, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Universitat de Girona have started the sixth edition of the «From Science to the Marketplace» programme», a training course to promote scientific entrepreneurship.

It is targeted towards master or doctoral students with differential technology from any university, who want to value their thesis or dissertation and be part of an enterprising team.

The main objective is to give participants the necessary tools to know how to create a company from their research.

  • Dates: September 30th – December 4th, 2024
  • Location: in-person training at the StartUB Lab Satèl·lit

The programme has over 100 hours of training in technology transfer and business creation. Additionally, each project will have between 2 and 10 hours of one-to-one mentoring with professional experts from the sector.

Participants will have the chance to work with expert tutors and successful entrepreneurs. They will also have access to the available services of the universities' technology transfer units.

It is a free programme with limited availability.
