Grants for contracts for the training of doctors at companies and other entities (Industrial Doctorates) 2024 of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities

The application period for the 2024 grants is open until June 4th, 2024 at 14:00 (Central European Time).

They are 4-year grants for various kinds of entities, with the goal to promote industrial research or experimental development projects tied to a doctoral thesis. Their objectives are to favour the job placement of research staff from the start of their careers, contribute to their employability and promote the integration of skilled professionals into the productive framework as to increase its competitiveness.

The industrial research or experimental development project can be executed in its entirety within the applying entity or in collaboration with another entity, public or private.

The following are subject to receiving aids:

• Aid to finance the direct costs of the project's execution.
• Aid to finance the enrolment costs of the doctoral studies.

These grants are aimed at companies, as well as non-profit private entities and public administrations whose statute, regulation or corporate purpose does not contain R+D+i among their goals nor as an activity to be developed.
