Take Part in the 9th Edition of the “Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes” Competition - 2026

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), through its Doctoral School, is taking part in the ninth edition of the “Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes” competition, organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi), with the support of the Government of Catalonia and the participation of Catalan universities.

The competition challenges doctoral candidates to present their research in no more than four minutes, using clear and accessible language for a general audience. It is structured in two stages: an institutional round at each university and an interuniversity final, which will take place on 11 June 2026, featuring the selected representatives.

Through this initiative, UPC strengthens its commitment to science communication, doctoral transversal training, and the development of key communication skills for research careers.
