Fellowships for mobility abroad

If you are interested in gaining research experience abroad, and eventually obtaining the International Mention for your PhD (for stays abroad of 3 months or more), there are multiple fellowships that may be of interest to you.

ERASMUS+ KA131

For short or long-term stays in institutions in countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland between 1 October 2024 and 1 July 2025. Participants can opt for short (5-30 days) or long (2-6 months) stays to enrich their academic and research experiences. Interested applicants can submit their application until 1st June 2025 through the UPC E-Office. In addition to funding the main expenses, the grant includes additional support for special needs.

ERASMUS+ KA171

Participants will be eligible for six-month stays in leading institutions in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, between November 2024 and July 2025. Interested applicants can submit their application until 20th December 2024.

UPC International Mention Fellowships

This call aims to extend long-term stays within the ERASMUS+ KA131 programme. It will be open for participants who have an ERASMUS+KA131 application, either for long-term stays (over 3 months) or for 2-month stays that will receive an extension of 1 or more months. Interested applicants will be able to submit their applications starting in a few weeks and up until May 2025.
