Banco Santander, through the program Santander Scholarships | Financial Aid for Predoctoral Research Staff 2026, offers financial support to promote the training and mobility of predoctoral research staff in training.

Number of scholarships and amount of the grant
The Santander Financial Aid Scholarships 2026/2027 at UPC offer 25 grants of €2,000 each for students enrolled in doctoral programs, with the aim of supporting predoctoral research staff.

Eligibility
Students enrolled in a doctoral program at UPC during the 2026/2027 academic year at the application deadline, and who are residents in Spain.

Types of support
International mobility and attendance at conferences or specialized courses.

Application deadline
Applications open on 07/05/2026 and close on 01/10/2026.

The information for submitting applications will be published starting from 04/05/2026.
