European Doctoral Day
On the occasion of the European Doctoral Day on May 13, 2026, the UPC Doctoral School launches the first research photography contest “Scientific Perspectives: Research in Images”. This initiative aims to showcase the doctoral and scientific research conducted at UPC, highlight the work of PhD candidates, and promote scientific dissemination through original and creative images.
Photographs should capture scientific objects and phenomena in a curious and visually appealing way. You can submit images of your research such as microscope results, field experiments, lab work, simulations, structures, or any detail that reflects real scientific work. Combine rigor, creativity, and visual impact… we’re sure you have more than one image that could participate!
Participation implies acceptance of the contest rules, copyright, and data protection regulations. Check the full rules and call here.
