Future doctoral candidates

What requirements must doctoral candidates meet to participate in a project?

  • They must fulfil all the admission requirements for doctoral studies.

  • The minimum average mark in the academic records of their bachelor’s or master’s degree (or pre-EHEA degree) must be at least 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

The application form specifies the candidate’s profile for each project (degree, languages, experience, etc.). See the project catalogue.

What steps must doctoral candidates follow?

Candidates can see the industrial doctorate project catalogue as the projects are published on the Government of Catalonia’s website by clicking on this link: project catalogue, and then apply to participate in any projects within their area of interest.

If they have their own project proposal, they will need to find an interested company and a thesis supervisor to guide them.

In the event you are chosen as candidate for a project, and the company and university reach an agreement to apply for the aid from the Government of Catalonia, you will have to apply for admission to the corresponding doctoral programme through the online admission app.
