Application period

In order to submit the application form, it is necessary to have chosen a candidate and signed the collaboration agreement. The documents that must be submitted to the Government of Catalonia through the Virtual Citizen Care Office are the following:

  • Collaboration agreement between the UPC and the company (the model agreement must be requested from escola.doctorat@upc.edu)

  • Minutes of the meeting at which the candidate was chosen (see template)

  • Academic transcript of the candidate (not necessarily a payment transcript)

  • Letter of admission of the candidate to the corresponding doctoral programme (they must request it through the admissions application)

The application can be submitted at any time of the year, but the deadlines must be taken into account in accordance with the different partial resolutions that are expected:

  • For the first partial resolution: until 16 April 2024, at 2 p.m. (Barcelona local time).

  • For the second partial resolution: from 17 April to 11 June 2024, at 2 p.m. (Barcelona local time).

  • For the third partial resolution: from 12 June to 8 October 2024, at 2 p.m. (Barcelona local time). 

  • For the fourth partial resolution: from 9 October to 10 December 2024, at 2 p.m. (Barcelona local time).  

The deadlines for confirming applications by the applicant institutions representing the academic environment will be as follows (pending update):

- For the first partial resolution: from 18 to 25 May 2024.

- For the second partial resolution: from 13 to 20 June 2024.

- For the third partial resolution: from 10 to 17 October 2024.

- For the fourth partial resolution: from 12 to 19 December 2024.
