Apr 02, 2025
The Doctoral School, in collaboration with the Culture and Community Area, is organising the third edition of the Sant Jordi Microfiction Competition, aiming to promote scientific dissemination. This contest is exclusive to doctoral students and provides a unique opportunity for researchers to showcase their creativity and writing skills while exploring their research interests.
This year, the theme focuses on scientific research. Entries, which may be written in Catalan, Spanish, or English, can be submitted until 11:59 PM on 13 April 2025 via the following form.
The jury will evaluate the reflection on the topic, originality, linguistic skills, and literary quality of each submitted micro-story to determine the winner and the two finalists. Their names will be announced at the UPC's Sant Jordi celebration event. The winner will receive a digital book reader as a prize, while the two finalists will receive a €50 voucher for book purchases at the Nollegiu Bookshop.
