Take part in the candidate pre-selection process for the 8th edition of the "Present your thesis in 4 minutes" contest!

The UPC Doctoral School is participating in the eighth edition of the Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes contest, organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi) with the support of the Government of Catalonia, in which all 12 Catalan universities are taking part.

The competition challenges doctoral students from any scientific discipline to orally present their research individually, in a maximum of four minutes, to a non-specialist audience. It takes place in two stages: the first consists of a preliminary round at each university to select a winner who will represent the institution in the second stage, the interuniversity final, where one representative from each participating university competes.

This year's edition features 19 candidates, which is why the pre-selection process has been launched in accordance with the competition rules. It consists of two phases:

1. Selection through the presentation video with the highest number of likes.
2. Selection by the jury.

Six participants will be chosen from each phase, and they will compete in the institutional final to determine who will represent UPC in the interuniversity final of the contest.
