José Enrique Domínguez Vidal, a doctoral candidate in the Doctoral Programme in Automatic Control, Robotics and Vision, will participate with his presentation What Is Intention? in the interuniversity final of the Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes contest, organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI).

On 3 July at 17:30, the auditorium of the “La Caixa” Foundation Space in the city of Girona will host the final of the eighth edition of this contest, in which twelve Catalan universities will take part. The event can be followed live on the FCRI’s YouTube channel.

The contest challenges doctoral researchers to present their research orally, in no more than four minutes, to a non-specialist audience. In this way, it supports the discoveries of the PhD candidates and encourages them to communicate what they do, how they do it and why they do it to society.

In the final, three prizes are awarded: the first and second by jury evaluation and the third by public vote, as well as a special mention for the best presentations.
