The Doctoral School of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya takes part in the fifth edition of the «#HiloTesis: Tu tesis doctoral en redes sociales» contest, organized by the Research Dissemination and Scientific Culture (Red Divulga) of the CRUE’s Sectorial Commission for R&I and the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation.
It is an initiative to promote the development of communication and scientific dissemination skills of both future and recent doctors.
The contest aims to offer researchers in training (whether they have completed and presented their thesis in the past 12 months or they are still working on it) the chance to share their work and strengthen the social importance of research. In order to accomplish that, contestants will have to share their thesis through a Bluesky thread, adapting their content to be expressed in a simple, accessible and appealing way.
The first post must include the hashtag #HiloTesis.
The contest will take place from 00:00h on June 3rd to 23:59h on June 17th, 2025 (CEST Madrid timezone). Participants will have to post their threads and fill in the form during that period.
As for the posts' language, only Spanish or any of the other co-official languages of Spain are allowed.
It is advised to pay close attention to CRUE's terms for the contest in order to learn more about participation requirements, rules and guidelines for posting and assessment criteria.
We look forward to your participation!
