Valorization of research results and entrepreneurship
Does your research have the potential to be transferred to the market? The courses and activities programmed in this line offer doctoral students the tools and knowledge necessary to turn the results of their research into something of tangible value for society, in order to become agents of change and promoters of the transfer of knowledge and technology from the academic field to the business world and society. The main objective of this training is to enhance the capacity of future researchers to identify opportunities, create new companies or collaborate with the private sector to bring forth innovation and contribute to economic development.
Courses are taught by UPC or guest professors and have the collaboration of the UPC Innovation Management Service.
The Entrepreneurship for Research Projects activity is programmed in this line. It can either be taken independently or as module 3 of the complete itinerary, made up of the Challenge-based Innovation Project (1) and Technology-based Innovation Project (2) courses.
