What documents should I provide?

You need to provide the original or a certified photocopy of all academic documents, which must be duly legalised and translated if they were issued by a foreign institution. If the entrance qualification was awarded by the UPC, you do not need to submit it.

  1. Enrolment application form (M form).

  2. DNI, NIE or passport (original and photocopy).

  3. Diploma and academic transcript of the bachelor’s degree or equivalent (original and photocopy).

  4. Diploma and academic transcript of the university master’s degree (original and photocopy).

  5. If you gain admission to the doctoral programme with the Diploma of Research Proficiency, in accordance with Royal Decree 185/1985, or the Diploma of Advanced Studies, in accordance with Royal Decree 778/1998, you must provide the academic transcript of the doctoral programme that includes the date on which it was awarded (original and photocopy).

  6. If you have already been assigned a thesis supervisor, one of the following:

    1. Commitment agreement between the doctoral student and the thesis supervisor (CDDT form), in duplicate and duly signed by the doctoral student and the thesis supervisor (2 original copies if signed manually).

    2. Commitment document between the doctoral student and the external thesis supervisor (CDDT+DDTE form), in duplicate and duly signed by the doctoral student and the thesis supervisors (2 original copies if signed manually).

  7. If applicable, you must provide proof (original and photocopy) that you are eligible to receive student financial aid (discounts for members of a large family, grants, etc.) or authorise us to check this through Via Oberta (you can do so via the e-Secretaria).

  8.  SEPA order if you wish to pay by direct debit or in instalments.
