Stage 5
It corresponds to the chair of the examination committee appointed to assess your thesis to send the call for the defence to:

The author of the thesis.

The rest of the members and substitutes of the thesis examination committee.

The thesis supervisor (or supervisors in the case of co-supervision).
-
The coordinator of the doctoral programme - managing unit of the doctoral programme.

The Doctoral School.
The thesis defence must be held on a teaching day and is open to the public.
This communication must be received at least 10 working days before the day on which the thesis defence is due to take place. This information is published in the Theses authorised for defence section of the website.
Up to the moment immediately before the defence and public presentation of the thesis, the Standing Committee of the Doctoral School may suspend the process due to serious unforeseen circumstances.
